Data controller

The Data Controller is Pierrel S.p.A. with headquarters in Strada Statale Appia 7bis, 46/48, 81043 Capua (CE) – Italy (hereinafter also “Pierrel” or the “Company”).

Which cookies are used

Cookies are small text strings that the websites visited by the user send to the browser of their device (PC, notebook, smartphone, tablet, etc.), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites at the next visit of the same user. Management and deletion of cookies through the browser configuration

Pierrel informs that, in addition to the above, the user who visits the website will be able to express or change their choices and options on cookies also through the additional settings of the browser used on their device. The user can at any time delete or disable any cookie directly through the provided functions and settings of the browser used on his PC, notebook, smartphone or tablet. It is emphasized that the options made through the browser settings will only take effect from the first connection of the user to the website made after the modification of these settings, in relation to the choices made directly on that website. Purpose, legal basis of the processing and category of data processed

Pierrel will process the personal data obtained from technical cookies for the sole purpose of allowing user navigation as well as the possibility of using the related services on the website. It is possible to set the browser to block these cookies, but, as a consequence, some parts of the website will not work. With reference to the analytics cookies used, they do not allow the identification of the user, but only the processing of aggregate statistics. These recipients, depending on the case, process personal data as independent or responsible controllers. Transfer of data to third countries

Pierrel informs that personal data may also be transferred to countries not belonging to the European Economic Area (so-called Third Countries) only if recognized by the European Commission as having an adequate level of protection of personal data and that the exercise of the rights of the Interested parties, or, in any case, providing suitable and appropriate protection measures to protect personal data and the transfer of the same in accordance with applicable laws, such as, for example, the adoption of the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission pursuant to of articles 45 and 46 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679. Rights of interested parties

The GDPR gives individuals whose personal data are being processed (“Data subjects”) specific rights, including that of knowing what personal data Pierrel holds and how they are used (Right of access), to obtain the updating, correction or, if interested, integration, as well as cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or limitation. Interested parties may at any time revoke, if provided, their consent to the storage of cookies in their device and to any processing of personal data resulting from the use of Cookies, in the terms indicated above, or by accessing the “Cookie Information” section of the website. Pierrel highlights that the withdrawal of consent will take effect from the moment of such withdrawal.

Data retention period and right to cancellation (i.e. right to be forgotten)

Pierrel will process the personal data collected as strictly necessary for the pursuit of the predetermined purposes; the data collected with the first-party profiling cookies, indicated in this Notice, will be kept for a maximum period of 6 (six) months from collection. At the end of the aforementioned retention period, the personal data referable to the interested parties will be deleted or stored in a form that does not allow the identification of the interested party (e.g. irreversible anonymization), unless their further processing is necessary for one or more for the following purposes: (i) resolution of pre-litigation and/or disputes initiated before the expiry of the retention period; (ii) to follow up on investigations/inspections by internal control functions and/or external authorities launched before the expiry of the retention period; (iii) to follow up on requests from the Italian and/ or foreign public authorities received/notified to Pierrel before the expiry of the retention period.
